Visual Art: Prints, Paints, and People
This fun class has many opportunities for children to learn about art materials, tools, and how to use them. Guided by the elements of art, students study color, line, texture, and space while exploring multiple mediums. Using safe and friendly materials, students complete projects including abstract prints and more realistic landscapes. They experiment with paint as they mix colors, create their own rainbows, and become acquainted with Roy G. Biv (the personified rainbow.) Aprons or old t-shirts are recommended.
