This is a fun course designed for both beginning and intermediate level students. During the first half of the class, children will learn the basics about learning to draw the human form. Students will use basic shapes to map the proper proportions of the human face and body while focusing on shading techniques using drawing pencils and charcoal. During the second half of the class, acrylic painting will be taught. Students will learn to use form, value and color to create abstract and more naturalistic landscape paintings. Projects include painting a forest, jungle, ocean and mountain scene. Materials are included in price.
