The ReSound Alera
The ReSound Alera
by Jerry Clark

ReSound, the technology leader in hearing solutions, has launched the Alera, the industry’s first truly wireless hearing aid. The ReSound Alera and the Unite wireless accessories allow a new way a hearing aid receives sound from devices such as TVs, stereos, cell phones and computers. For the first time patients can receive sound directly from the device without cables, wires or the need to wear some type of uncomfortable accessory.
Patients are able to tune directly into their TV and connect their mobile phone to their hearing aid using Bluetooth technology. The user can take part in conversations while tuned into other devices because environmental noise is not blocked out. “Traditionally it has been hard for hearing aid users to connect directly to their TVs or cell phones,” says Jerry Clark, owner of Affordable Digital Hearing. “This device makes it easy, sending the sound from these other devices directly to their hearing aids.”
To find out more about the new ReSound Alera call Jerry Clark at Affordable Digital Hearing at 812-234-9332 or visit them today at the Meadows Shopping Center, located at the corner of 25th St. and Poplar Ave., Terre Haute.
